Limeflower & fig
OOOh i love this one, it smells gorgeous. And look its even got a wee heart swirl on the top one in the pic, how cute is that?
Not much else to say, i wish the cheque i am waiting on would come soon, i need to buy more fragrances and there is a sale on in one of the companies. I bet my friend does her accounts at the end of the month!
Also I am waiting for the assessor to get in touch with me about my certificate, I dont know what it will say on it.It doesnt seem like the other assessors ways of doing it. But anyway we will wait and see. I wish it would hurry up though, i need to get selling!

Just made another!
Well, another day another soap! And today on the soap menu is Lavender and geranium.
It looks nice on the top but i dont know what on earth it will be like in the middle when i slice it. Its still warm and cooling down just now so i will update later with a pic.
Its all very exciting , and this method being so quick means i dont have to make loads , i can just make a batch when somebody wants some, and then thats it till i run out and somebody asks again!
Oh i really want to slice it, i really really want to slice it! This is the worst bit, the waiting! But i am so impatient. never mind
Oh yes i also wrapped up some of my other soap, i thought when i make this soap i will cut it up for samples, and when anyone orders from me i can stick a couple of samples that they havent ordered, that way they will get to know what my soap is like eek!
Ok over and out for now.

Ok here we go!!
My first blog.
My name is Cathy and I make soap!
I just want to use this as a record with pictures about my soap.
I make Oven hot process soap which is by far the easiest and it means you get the effects of cold process with out the time problem up to 3 weeks before its ready.
With OHP its ready straight away , although its best to leave it a few days just to harden off.
Anyway I have been making soap for 5 yrs now and i have only just found out about OHP soap so i am like the cat with the cream because i am also setting up my own website at www.lochbroomsoap.co.uk and i will let everyone know when its ready!!!!
Heres my first attempt at swirling with OHP(infact my first go at swirling ever!!!) not bad even though i do say so myself, i find it very relaxing making soap.
I scented this with lovespell, and i dont really like it but have been told i must have it on my site so here it is what do you think?
